Tigray Response and Recovery Projects

The Ethiopian Development Response to Displacement Impact Project Phase II (DRDIP II) will focus on adaptation and resilience by:

• Upgrading and constructing public infrastructure for better services and to address the strain refugee inflows on service provision; 

• Mitigating environmental degradation to enhance environmental benefits for both refugee and host communities; and 

• Supporting livelihood (crops, livestock and fisheries and income-generation for host communities and refugees to become self-reliant in Tigray.

 

In close partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture of Ethiopia, UNOPS is implementing the project will improve access to basic social and economic services, expand livelihood opportunities and enhance environmental management for host communities and refugees in the target areas in the Tigray Region.
