Strengthening the Capacities of Woredas to Develop Agriculture

The 171 motorbikes were delivered to the regional Bureau of Agriculture within the agriculture project financed by the World Bank, managed by the Ministry of Agriculture and implemented by UNOPS in Tigray.
Within the Food Systems Resilience Programme (FSRP) project, the donated motorbikes (DT175 Yamaha) in the total value of USD 359,544 will strengthen agricultural extension services by ensuring mobility of the regional Bureau of Agriculture Project Woredas staff. The Woreda level experts engaged under the FSRP project and development agents in each Kebelle will now be able to reach agriculture producers in the remote areas.
